SPRAT stands for Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians and is an international non-profit organisation that sets safety standards and issues professional certifications for rope access work. Founded in the United States in the mid-1990s, it is now one of the world’s leading organisations in this field, alongside its European counterpart, IRATA. It will hold its annual conference in March.
